Warid Internet Packages

Warid internet runs on Jazz's network now, but a small set of Warid-specific data bundles still exist. Here is the current list.

Warid's mobile internet exists today only as a reduced subset of the Jazz data network. The Warid brand stopped operating its own infrastructure after the 2016 merger, so any data you use on a Warid SIM travels through Jazz towers. What remains distinctly 'Warid' is a small set of legacy data bundles still available exclusively to customers holding the old Warid SIM cards.

What to expect from Warid internet today

You are likely reading this page if you fall into one of these groups:

If you are buying a new SIM today, do not pick Warid — buy a Jazz SIM directly. The underlying network is identical, but Jazz has a larger active package menu and is being actively developed while Warid sits in maintenance mode.

Picking between Warid bundles and switching to Jazz

The first thing to weigh is whether the Warid-specific bundles offer anything you cannot get on Jazz. In most cases, the answer is no — Warid bundles are almost always either identical to Jazz equivalents or marginally worse. The few cases where Warid is cheaper involve very small differences (Rs. 5 to Rs. 20) on monthly tiers, rarely worth keeping the SIM for if you find Jazz packages otherwise more useful.

The second thing is signal compatibility. Warid SIMs use slightly older network registration parameters that occasionally fail in newly-built areas where Jazz has deployed 5G-ready equipment. In practice this is rare, but if you notice 'No Service' on your Warid SIM while a Jazz SIM registers fine in the same location, this is the explanation.

The third thing is the conversion option. You can convert a Warid SIM to a Jazz SIM for free at any Jazz franchise — your number stays the same, your existing balance transfers, and any active bundles continue normally. The whole process takes about ten minutes. If you find yourself frustrated by the Warid package menu, this is the practical solution.

One last consideration: Warid SIMs are not eligible for Jazz's new 5G offerings rolled out from 2025 onwards. If you have a 5G-capable phone and live in a 5G coverage area (currently parts of Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad), you cannot access 5G speeds without converting to a Jazz SIM.

Warid internet packages available now

The bundles below are what Warid SIMs can still subscribe to as of early 2026. The list is shorter than the equivalent Jazz menu because several legacy Warid bundles were retired in late 2024 — most notably the old Glow Internet offers and the Day-Pass family.

If you see a different package or a different price when you dial *321# on your Warid SIM, trust the menu. Some Warid SIMs still display retired packages in the historical bills section, which can be confusing — focus on the 'Current Offers' menu only.

Subscribing to a Warid data bundle

  1. Check Warid balance via *321#

Warid SIMs use *321# (not the Jazz *111#) for balance check. The reply SMS shows your current credit within a few seconds.

  2. Dial the bundle code

Type the code from the table above into your phone dialler, exactly as shown. Warid codes are mostly short prefixed with * and ended with #. Press call.

  3. Wait for the SMS confirmation

Within about 30 seconds you should receive a confirmation message from a Warid short code. The message includes the bundle name, the MB/GB activated, the validity and the unsubscribe code.

  4. Open phone data and test

Turn on Mobile Data in your phone settings. Try loading a webpage or sending a WhatsApp message. If data does not flow within a minute, restart the phone — sometimes the Warid SIM needs a fresh network registration after a bundle activates.

Warid internet — frequently raised issues

A practical note on Warid's future

Jazz has not announced an end-of-life date for the Warid brand, but the pattern is unmistakable — fewer new packages each year, smaller marketing spend, and gradual consolidation into the Jazz mainline menu. The Warid name might stay around until the early 2030s as a billing distinction, but new investment in Warid-specific offerings has effectively stopped.

If you depend on a Warid SIM for anything important — a business number, a bank-registered number, a JazzCash wallet — consider converting it to Jazz proactively. The conversion is free, painless, and future-proofs you against the eventual brand sunset. If your Warid SIM is just a backup or convenience, leaving it as-is is fine for now.

The packages and codes above reflect mid-2026 availability. Warid menu options shift quarterly as Jazz prunes retired bundles. Always verify via *321# before subscribing to anything in the Rs. 200+ range.
