Telenor Internet Packages
Telenor internet bundles cover everything from Rs. 6 WhatsApp-only packs to 25 GB monthly plans. Here is the full list with subscription tips.
Telenor's data network in Pakistan has one major strength and one major weakness. The strength is reach — Telenor's 4G coverage extends into rural districts where other networks are still patchy or 3G-only. The weakness is peak-hour congestion in cities — Telenor towers can slow noticeably between 7 pm and 10 pm in dense urban areas. Internet packages exist on both ends of the price spectrum.
Best fit for Telenor data bundles
Telenor internet packages suit these users well:
- Anyone in a small town or village — Telenor often has better signal than Jazz or Zong outside Punjab's main cities.
- WhatsApp-heavy users — Telenor includes 'Free WhatsApp' as a perk on many low-cost bundles.
- Students who watch YouTube tutorials on the go.
- Casual users who do not need lots of data but want it to be reliable.
Telenor is generally a poor fit for heavy laptop hotspot users — peak-hour speeds in big cities are not consistent enough to support video calls or large downloads. Jazz or Zong is usually better for that use case.
Important things to know first
Telenor's 'Free WhatsApp' add-on is the most-misunderstood part of their data offering. It covers WhatsApp text messages and voice notes — but voice calls and video calls usually fall outside the free quota and pull from your main data bucket. Read the package details before assuming a long WhatsApp video call will be free.
The second thing is 4G priority. Telenor reserves some 4G capacity for users on premium packages during peak hours. If you are on a cheap daily bundle in a busy city tower, you may notice speeds dropping while the same tower stays fast for users on monthly plans. This is intentional, not a fault.
The third thing is YouTube bundling. Telenor offers 'YouTube Free' as a separate add-on on several packages. This means streaming on YouTube does not count against your main data — but only at standard definition (480p or below). HD or 4K streaming pulls from the main bucket.
One useful trick: if you only need data for one specific app — say, WhatsApp or Facebook — the app-specific bundles cost a fraction of the full internet package and give effectively unlimited usage of that one app.
Current Telenor internet packages
The packages below are the main Telenor internet bundles in 2026. The 'core data' column is the part you can use on any app or website. 'App data' is locked to specific apps and cannot be used for general browsing.

Many Telenor packages auto-renew when they expire. If you only want to subscribe once, immediately after activation send the word 'unsub' followed by the package keyword to 7867 — this disables renewal but keeps the current bundle active until it naturally expires.
Activation methods explained
- Choose USSD or the My Telenor app
USSD works on every phone, even the oldest Nokia. The app needs Android or iPhone and roughly 80 MB to download. The app is easier for first-time users because it shows package details visually.
- Dial the activation code
Type the code exactly as listed — Telenor's data codes mostly start with
*5*followed by a number. Press call. The system deducts the price and confirms via SMS within thirty seconds. - Verify the bundle is active
Dial
*222#to see all active bundles. The new one should appear with the remaining data clearly listed. If it does not appear, wait two minutes and try again. - Adjust phone APN if data does not work
On rare occasions, the SIM activates but data does not start flowing. Go to Phone Settings → Mobile Networks → Access Point Names and check the APN is set to 'internet' or 'telenor.connect'. Restart the phone after any change.

A note on the ongoing PTCL acquisition
Telenor Pakistan has been in the process of being acquired by Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) since 2023. If the deal completes, Telenor and Ufone are expected to merge their networks and rationalise their package offerings. As of mid-2026 the deal is still not finalised, but the rumour cycle has affected investor confidence in new Telenor infrastructure rollouts — which is one reason peak-hour speeds in big cities have not improved much over the past 18 months.
The specific prices and codes in the table above reflect Telenor's standard offerings in early 2026. The *345# menu is the authoritative source for any specific SIM, and prices may differ slightly between customers based on usage-history promotions Telenor's system shows you.
