Nayatel Internet Packages

Nayatel's FTTH packages range from 15 Mbps at Rs. 2,499 to 500 Mbps at Rs. 10,999. Here is how to pick the right plan and what installation involves.

Nayatel is a fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) internet provider based in Islamabad. Founded in 2006 by former PTCL engineers, the company has built a reputation as Pakistan's most reliable home broadband provider, with consistently high customer satisfaction and the most extensive fiber network in the Twin Cities. Their coverage is limited primarily to Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Faisalabad — but where Nayatel is available, they are usually the premium choice.

Why Nayatel still leads the Twin Cities

Nayatel is the right fit for these kinds of households:

Nayatel is not the right choice if you live outside their coverage footprint or if you only need light occasional internet. The monthly fees start at around Rs. 2,500 — overkill for someone whose entire internet usage could be covered by a Rs. 1,100 mobile data bundle.

Things to consider before booking

The first thing to check is whether Nayatel is actually available at your specific address. Their coverage map looks broad on paper but the actual fiber availability is street-by-street. Some neighbourhoods are fully fiberised; others have fiber on the main road but not on side streets. Call Nayatel's helpline (051-111-11-44-44) with your exact address before assuming you can sign up.

The second thing is the installation timeline. Once you submit an application, Nayatel typically schedules a survey visit within three to five working days, followed by installation about a week later if the property already has fiber drop available. If new fiber drop is needed, installation can take three to four weeks. Plan accordingly if you are switching from an existing provider — keep the old connection active until Nayatel is up.

The third thing is the contract structure. Nayatel does not lock customers into long contracts — month-to-month is standard. You can downgrade, upgrade or cancel at the end of any billing cycle without penalty. The setup fee is paid once upfront and is not refundable, but there is no early termination penalty on the monthly fee.

The fourth thing is the static IP and additional services. Nayatel offers static IP addresses (useful for remote desktop access, security cameras, small servers) for an extra monthly fee. They also bundle a landline phone number and optionally IPTV — though most users skip IPTV in favour of streaming services like YouTube Premium and Netflix.

How to get Nayatel installed at your home

  1. Verify coverage at your address

Visit nayatel.com or call 051-111-11-44-44. Provide your full address including house number, street, sector or block. The Nayatel rep will confirm whether fiber drop is available at your location. Do not skip this step — submitting an application without fiber availability wastes time.

  2. Submit an online application

Fill the online form on nayatel.com with your name, CNIC number, complete address and contact mobile number. Upload a CNIC scan. Select the package you want. There is no payment at this stage — the form just registers the request.

  3. Site survey visit

Within three to five working days, a Nayatel surveyor visits your home to check the fiber drop point and plan the cable route. The visit usually takes 20 to 30 minutes. They confirm the installation date at the end of the visit.

  4. Installation and activation

The installation team arrives on the scheduled day, runs the fiber cable into your house, installs the ONT (small white box) and the router, configures the Wi-Fi password, and tests speeds. Full installation usually takes two to four hours. You pay the setup fee at the end and the first month's bill arrives separately.

Nayatel — common questions before signing up

One more thing about Nayatel

Nayatel's reputation in the Twin Cities is unusual in Pakistani telecom — they actually have customers who recommend them enthusiastically rather than just tolerating them. Most of this comes from genuine investment in customer service. Their helpline (111-11-44-44) typically answers within two rings during business hours, the engineers know their craft, and complex tickets get escalated and resolved within a working day. This is rare in Pakistan's broader telecom landscape.

If you are choosing between Nayatel and PTCL in Islamabad or Rawalpindi, the deciding factor is usually price. Nayatel costs 20% to 40% more than equivalent PTCL packages but delivers noticeably better reliability. If your work depends on the internet being up, Nayatel is worth the premium. If you can tolerate occasional outages, PTCL is fine.

Prices in the table above reflect Nayatel's standard residential tariffs in early 2026. Business plans, dedicated bandwidth, and static IP add-ons are priced separately and require a custom quote from the sales team.
