Ufone Call Packages

Ufone call packages include free PTCL landline minutes — a feature no other Pakistani network offers. Here is the full list of current bundles.

Ufone is owned by the Pakistan Telecommunication Company (PTCL), which is itself majority-owned by Etisalat of the UAE. This ownership structure gives Ufone two things that competitors lack — guaranteed integration with PTCL landlines (so off-net to PTCL is free or cheap on most packages) and a particularly strong corporate user base. Ufone call packages tend to be priced slightly higher than Jazz or Telenor but include perks the others do not.

Is a Ufone call package right for you

Ufone call packages work well for:

If you never call landlines and your contacts are mostly on Jazz or Telenor, a Ufone package gives you less for the same money than the competitor's equivalent.

Things to read before subscribing

The first specific Ufone quirk is the PTCL landline bonus. Almost every Ufone call bundle includes free or heavily-discounted calls to PTCL landlines. This is a meaningful saving if you call government departments, law offices or older hospitals — most of which still operate primarily on PTCL lines. No other Pakistani mobile network offers this.

The second thing is the Super Card structure. Ufone's Super Card is a 30-day bundle that includes large amounts of minutes, SMS and data in a single package — sometimes cheaper than buying call, SMS and internet separately. If you need all three, the Super Card variants almost always win on price.

The third thing is district-specific offers. Ufone runs separate package menus for different regions of Pakistan — packages available in Karachi may not appear in the Lahore *888# menu. The packages in this list are nationwide; if you see a different price on your own phone, the regional offer applies.

Finally, watch out for the Pakistan Offer family of packages. These are Ufone's signature single-day deals, but they auto-renew every day until explicitly cancelled. If you only want one day of usage, unsubscribe within an hour of activation to prevent the next day's auto-charge.

Ufone publishes more packages than any other Pakistani network, partly because of regional variations and partly because they run frequent limited-time offers. The table below covers the seven main packages consistently available nationally.

Ufone runs different package menus based on what region your SIM is registered to. If a code from the table does not work, dial *888# and look through the regional menu — the same package may exist under a different code on your specific SIM.

How to subscribe and activate

  1. Verify your balance

Dial *124# to see your current balance. Ufone packages cost from Rs. 12 upwards — make sure you have at least the full price plus Rs. 5 for tax.

  2. Dial the activation code

Type the package code exactly as shown. Ufone's codes vary more than competitors — some start with *888, others with *5050 or *825. Press call. The response usually arrives within 15 seconds.

  3. Choose from the menu if prompted

Many Ufone codes show an interactive menu before activating. Press the number corresponding to the package you actually want. The menu may show one or two upsell options first — skip these unless you want them.

  4. Confirm via SMS

Ufone confirms every package activation via SMS. Save this — the message contains the unsubscribe instructions you will need later to stop auto-renewal.

Ufone call — common questions

One more thing about Ufone

The expected merger between Ufone and Telenor — both ending up under PTCL ownership — has been in regulatory review for over two years. If the deal does complete, Ufone customers might eventually find themselves on a combined Ufone-Telenor network with package offerings drawn from both operators. Until that happens, Ufone continues to operate as a fully-independent network with its own packages and pricing.

The prices listed in the table above are valid as of early 2026. Ufone updates packages and prices roughly every quarter, and the live *888# menu always shows the current price on your specific SIM. Region-specific offers can also create differences between what you see on the menu and what is listed nationally — trust your own menu in case of any conflict.
